Reports have emerged suggesting Liverpool could be without midfielder Adam Lallana for up to four weeks.
Several media outlets, including Sky Sports, are reporting the 28-year-old returned from England duty with a thigh injury and will probably miss this weekend’s Merseyside derby.
Lallana has been a key player for Liverpool this season, as they look to secure a top four finish. They are currently four points above Manchester United in fourth position and could do without any more injury concerns.
At half-time of England’s World Cup qualifier with Lithuania, the midfielder appeared to be nursing an injury as he rubbed his thigh on the way to the locker room. However, he completed the full 90 minutes and set up Jamie Vardy to make it 2-0.
The fact that he continued the match despite seemingly carrying an injury has led Liverpool fans to lay the blame at Gareth Southgate’s door. Although Lallana would have known if he was fit to continue and the medical team would have been consulted, it is the national team boss who has been blasted on Twitter.

Fuck off Southgate playing Lallana after he limped off at half time. And now he's out for a month. I fuckin hate international football.

(Note: Not actually Jurgen Klopp, just in case there was any doubt.)
Piss off international break and piss off Southgate for rinsing Lallana like that.
