Chelsea fans are sure to be divided over what is expected to be the club’s next home kit.
This term the Pensioners play in a simple, beautiful and uninterrupted home jersey, however that could all be about to change come the new year with plans afoot for a drastic design change, one the likes of which have never been seen in a Chelsea strip before.
According to Footy Headlines, the Stamford Bridge club’s shirt will for the 2018/19 season feature white and red horizontal stripes placed throughout the majority blue jersey, a huge change from anything that’s gone before.
More pressing matters for the club, however, are their performances on the pitch, with second place in the Premier League now arguably the only realistic target for them given Manchester City’s ruthless opening to the campaign.
The Blues still also have the Champions League last 16 to look forward to with Bayern Munich standing in the way of them and a place in the quarter-finals.
