Gerard Deulofeu has joined Watford from Barcelona until the end of the season. The midfielder will be looking for first team football with the Hornets after only 5 appearances with Barcelona this season.
Deulofeu has been loaned out to Watford until June 30th 2018. Watford will pay Deulofeu’s salary during his time at Vicarage Road, plus a potential additional payment of £1 million. He is the first signing made by Watford since they appointed former Malaga boss Javi Gracia earlier this month.

The 23 year old has proven that he can compete in the Premier League, during his time at Everton he bagged 5 goals and 11 assists in 62 games for the Toffees.
The Spaniard returned to the Nou Camp on 30th June 2017 but has struggled to get game time, making just 5 appearances with the club.
Watford have only 1 win in their last 11 Premier League games this season and recently appointed manager Javi Gracia will be hoping Deulofeu can help Watford stay out of relegation and end their run of poor form, after a disappointing start for the manager losing 1-0 to Southampton in the FA Cup. Watford are just 4 points off the drop zone despite being 10th in the Premier League.
