Manchester United’s injury woes continue as manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that his side will have to do without the defensive trio of Daley Blind, Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo for Monday’s Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.

In an interview with MUTV, the Portuguese confirmed he will be without the three defenders for his side’s trip to Selhurst Park.

“No Phil Jones, no Marcos Rojo, no Daley Blind.

“We don’t have them. So the situation hasn’t changed. The squad is the same.”

Mourinho did not offer any further update of an expected return date for any of the three players.

United will also be without Ander Herrera for the trip to London, with the Spaniard injuring his thigh against Sevilla in the Champions League recently.

United will also be missing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has reportedly returned to training, as well as long-term absentee Marouane Fellaini.

Despite this, Mourinho is relatively well-stocked at the back with the recent return of Ivorian defender Eric Bailly as well as Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof.

United face Crystal Palace on Monday before a vital Premier League clash with fierce rivals Liverpool, who they lead in second by two points, next Saturday at Old Trafford.
