Different Club, Same Story: Arsenal Fans Lay Into ‘Awful’ Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has come under fire once more – this time for his performance in Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat to Ostersunds in the Europa League.

The Armenian endured a tough time from his own fans at Manchester United for a series of inconsistent and lethargic showings, and Arsenal supporters are starting to sense a case of déjà vu at present with Mkhitaryan offering little promise in a poor display all around from the Gunners.

While Arsene Wenger’s side still progressed 4-2 on aggregate to reach the last 16, the performance of his side will have left a sour taste in the mouth of supporters ahead of a huge game this weekend, the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.

Mkhitaryan will not be able to play at Wembley as he is cup-tied, but going off these tweets some fans will be delighted with that fact.

While it is still early days for Mkhitaryan at the Emirates, he will have to up his game if he wants supporters at the Emirates to warm to him.

Judging off these comments, that may take a while to happen just yet.
