Alvaro Morata Got Absolutely Hammered For His Performance On Twitter Tonight

It’s fair to say Alvaro Morata will have better evenings than the one he had tonight.

The Chelsea striker missed multiple good chances in their wasteful 2-2 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates – and fans were quite keen to jump on the opportunity to criticise the former Real Madrid man’s finishing ability.

While the Spaniard has found the net ten times in the Premier League this season – most of those goals have been with his head, leading to serious question marks over just how good he is with the ball at his feet.

His first half miss following some awful defending from the Gunners drew particular abuse – but in terms of overall performance, it’s fair to say that tonight was Morata’s worst in a blue shirt yet.

While we’re sure it was a case of a one off bad performance for Morata – should he miss any more chances in the coming weeks, fans will be more than willing to remind him.

The Spaniard’s bad day at the office may have frustrated the Chelsea support tonight – especially given Diego Costa’s goalscoring return to Atletico Madrid, but there is no doubt he will ultimately make his own amends.
