Mohamed Salah set the Champions League semi-final on fire last night with two extraordinary goals vs Roma.
Not only did the Egyptian forward rattle the net on two occasions, he also set up two further goals, teeing up Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane for a couple of tap-ins.
Such was the level of Salah’s performance (and the consistency of his brilliance this season) countless fans and pundits have now begun to tip the 25-year-old for the Ballon d’Or.
Last night, Mo Salah scored his 42nd & 43rd goal of the season.
He created two more. 15 assists total.
He's close to the record for goals in a season.
He's broken the record for most games scored in.
He's 4 shy of Rush's all time record.
Some people thought he shouldn't be POTY.

Twitter has been rife with praise for the former Roma man since his outstanding performance last night and, on Wednesday morning, BT Sport posted some excellent footage of Steven Gerrard and the BT panel reacting to Salah’s sublime finishes.
Player, coach, pundit.
But most of all Steven Gerrard is a die-hard Liverpool fan ??
