Twitter reacts as Manchester United manage to steal away three points from the more dominant Arsenal, who will be kicking themselves after not being able to capitalise on some serious pressure from start to finish.
All things considered, today’s Premier League pairing between Manchester United and Arsenal was a pretty thrilling affair. United managed to go two up within the first fifteen minutes and though the scoreline finished with them ahead on a comfortable two-goal lead, the actual match itself saw them be on the receiving end of some serious pressure from their London-rivals.
Jesse Lingard’s brace was one of the biggest talking points on the night as the Englishman added to his impressive mid-week showing with a pair of well taken goals but despite this, the real hero for the Red Devils was the Spaniard between the posts.
David de Gea’s lightning reflexes have been beyond doubt for some time now but with Arsenal’s shot-count hitting 15 on target, it was clear when all was said and done who José Mourinho’s side were indebted to.
De Gea can quit football and be the Minister of Defense

There was controversy to be found, of course, with Arsenal having a pretty reasonable penalty shout denied in the game’s later stages but perhaps the biggest scandal on the night was the sending off of United’s Paul Pogba, who – as a result of his misdemeanour – will miss out on his side’s crucial derby matchup with Manchester City next time around.
Despite the strength of United’s counter-attacking and defensive display, the brunt of the attention was fixated on Arsenal’s failure to capitalise on their consistent domination and understandably, the fans collectively voiced their frustrations with their team’s result, despite the strong performance they put in over the ninety minutes.
I’m not an Arsenal fan, but if I was I’d be incredibly aggrieved tonight…
Two real penalty shouts, 1485 shots on target, lose 3-1.

33 attempts to 8. But for the errors at the back, there is really nothing to fault Arsenal for here. Nothing to be done about DDG’s superhuman abilities #ARSMUN

I'm usually left so disappointed in Arsenal after a loss, but today not so much. We've played fantastic football, and have simply been stifled by a heroic perfomance from DDG. If we keep up this kind of form, Top 4 wont be a problem again.

3 mistakes 3 goals for United & so many chances for Arsenal. The worst way to lose a game. Although there were some bad ref decisions, we are the only ones to blame.
