Jose Mourinho has voiced his frustration over how his name has been pronounced by some in England.
Throughout his many years in the Premier League, Mourinho’s first name has been pronounced differently by various people involved in football.
In the latest teaser trailer for the upcoming Amazon Prime documentary on Tottenham Hotspur, Jose Mourinho can be seen taking charge of an early training session for Spurs.
The session saw Mourinho ask young defender Japhet Tanganga how to pronounce his surname before the Spurs boss expressed his frustration about how people say his first name.
“I hate to say the wrong names,” the Portuguese explained. “Everybody says my name wrong.”

The Tottenham Hotspur edition of Amazon Prime’s documentary series All Or Nothing is expected to hit the streaming platform later this year.
The show is expected to focus on Mauricio Pochettino’s departure from the club, as well as the arrival of Mourinho.
Earlier glimpses of the programme show Mourinho encouraging his side to avoid being nice on the pitch in an expletive-laden pep talk.
He said: “You need to communicate, and maybe I’m wrong, maybe I’m wrong, I feel that you are, honestly, a very nice group of guys. But, for 90 minutes, for 90 minutes, you cannot be nice.
“For 90 minutes, we have to be a bunch of cunts, intelligent cunts, not stupid cunts. Bastards in the sense of you are going to win matches.”
The previous series of All Or Nothing followed Manchester City throughout their 2017/18 season and was received favourably by supporters and neutrals alike.
