Watch: Schneiderlin and Herrera Blitz Everton To Put Man Utd 2-0 Up

The first half blitz from the midfield duo sees Man Utd rebounding from the Arsenal loss in style against the Toffees.

The likes of Wayne Rooney and Memphis have found it difficult to contribute to United’s goal tally in recent times, but judging by this display, manager Louis van Gaal is well served in that respect in other sections of the team.

Subbed against Arsenal in favour of Michael Carrick and Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin has showed that he has more to offer than a safe pair of hands in the Man Utd engine room.

Some good positioning saw him in place to slot the ball with a smooth finish.

Ander Herrera is also staking his claim for a starting place in impressive fashion. The 22nd minute saw a marauding run and cross by Marcus Rojo (of all people) – putting it on a plate for the Spaniard.

United lead 2-0 at half time away at Goodison Park.
