Watch: Louis Van Gaal’s Post-Match Interview Complete With Death Stare

Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United side have had four losses in a row for the first time in 54 years, leaving him unsure about his own future.

Even the Dutchman appears on the verge of conceding defeat after United’s loss away to Stoke today.

Louis van Gaal’s infamous press conference earlier in the week had him entertaining no notions regarding speculation on his future, but today’s interview saw him cast doubt. When asked if the ‘people that matter’ are still behind him, LVG had this to say:

“It’s another situation, we have lost the fourth game so we have to wait and see”.

The interview itself started off innocently enough.

The boss was naturally disappointed with a first-half performance that saw United go 2-0 down early on: “My thoughts are we don’t dare to play football in the first half.”

When attention switched from the game itself to the manager’s future, things quickly turned sour.

Van Gaal made further comments in the post-game press conference to the effect of:

“The club doesnt have to fire me, sometimes I do it by myself.”

United play Chelsea on Monday – a game which could prove to be Louis van Gaal’s swansong if the Red Devils’ winless streak stretches to eight games.
