Gareth Bale may yet have a big role to play in the Champions League final.
He has been at the club since 2013, having moved from Tottenham Hotspur in a then-world record d.eal
The 28-year-old has often been linked with a move away from Real Madrid, but that speculation has intensified in recent months with him struggling to get into the starting eleven.
Despite this, Bale has scored 18 goals this season, and his latest one on Saturday against Celta Vigo might be the best of the lot.
The Welshman opened the scoring after just 13 minutes, but it was second after a half hour that will fan the flames ahead of Madrid’s Champions League tilt against Liverpool in two weeks time.
A long ball from Isco was chased down by Bale and Jonny Castro of Celta.
A massive, well-timed first touch from the winger left Castro in his wake, and the follow-up curler into the far corner was sensational.
World class from Gareth Bale! ???

Zinedine Zidane’s side ran out 6-0 winners, and if Bale can contribute in similar fashion to the final league game of the season against Villarreal, the Frenchman might have to deal with a selection headache heading into the Champions League showcase in Kiev.
