Celtic are already on their way to winning a historic second consecutive domestic treble.
Brendan Rodgers’ dominant side were heavily fancied to add to their League title and League Cup win against Motherwell today.
The two sides are currently in Scottish Cup final action at Hampden Park, but as a once-off cup final, it’s anyone’s to win despite Celtic’s imperious form.
The Steelmen have a mountain to climb if they are to cause a shock against the Glasgow giants, though.
Callum McGregor scored a belter after just eleven minutes. The Scotsman latched onto a clearance, scooping the ball into the air.
Just as it hit the ground he unleashed a fantastic strike into the far corner past a helpless Trevor Carson.
What a goal from McGregor. Brilliant strike. pic.twitter.com/uy1M6AfY58

The goal is McGregor’s 12th of the season, and 15 minutes later, Fremchman Olivier Ntcham doubled the lead for the Bhoys, with the game quickly becoming in danger of being killed off as a contest.
