It’s now six straight La Liga wins for the current title holders.
An upset defeat to Levante in the Copa Del Rey occurred on Thursday, but Barcelona bounced back in style at home against Eibar.
Lionel Messi made history in the 3-0 win, scoring his 400th La Liga goal with the second strike of the evening.

It’s a remarkable moment in the game’s history, but the best of the on-field action came over a half an hour prior.
Within just 15 seconds, a combination of Arthur, Sergio Busquets, Philippe Coutinho and Luis Suarez created a goal straight out of the prime Guardiola era.
The strike was worthy of the build-up – the replay angle shows just how absurd the amount of curve that Suarez got on the ball was.
The win puts Barcelona five points clear atop the table, ahead of Atletico Madrid in second on 38 points.
Real Madrid are currently in the lead against Real Betis, but even a win would only close the gap to their rivals to ten points.
