The youngster blew Hummels away in a midweek Europa League qualifier.
According to Norwegian paper TA, Manchester United are chasing Odds BK prospect Rafik Zekhnini. The 17-year-old played in Norwegian side Odds’ 4-3 to Borussia Dortmund on Thursday night, impressing highly-rated centre back and apparent long-term United target Mats Hummels.
The German praised the young winger, and finding out that he was only 17 elicited this response:
“Really? He’s really 17-years-old? What the f***!?”

We for one trust the judgement of the 2014 World Cup winner, so Manchester United fans ought to get very excited if anything comes of the bid. If he were to move, Zekhnini would follow in the footsteps of fellow Norwegian sensation Martin Ødegaard (who joined Real Madrid in January) in joining a massive club at a very young age.
TA quote him as saying:
“My dream is to play for Manchester United. It has always been [my] favorite club.”
