The WSJ Have Found The 18 Most Likely Manchester United Transfers According To English Newspapers

Manchester United

The Wall Street Journal have sorted rumored Manchester United signings by the number of English articles mentioning the player in the last thirty days.

There’s no surprise regarding the most talked about club – Real Madrid, with four of their players mentioned. Tottenham, of all teams, ranks second with two players alongside German duo Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. The recent surge in Ramos speculation almost sees him top the entire list, with an average of two articles a day written about the Madrid defender.

We’re willing to guess that this isn’t the first time that German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has featured prominently on such a list – it feels like United have been chasing him for a lifetime now (we’re in shock that Wesley Sneijder isn’t there, for once).

So, United fans, if you could have one player (or three) from this list, who would it be? We’ll have Bale, Gundogan and Hummels please.
