Superb Le Tissier-esque Goal From Marco Matias Vs Leeds United

Goal of the week/month/season.

The Sheffield Wednesday forward grabbed the first goal in a one all draw with Leeds United in the Championship with a stunning effort in the 37th minute.

It’s arguably the best goal that the Yorkshire derby has ever seen. Matias, who signed a four-year deal with the club last month, flicked the ball over oncoming Leeds defender Liam Cooper with his right, before booming a left-footed volley past ‘keeper Silvestri – invoking memories of the days when Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier terrorised the Premier League in a similar manner in the 1990’s.
