Reaction To The Dramatic Conclusion Of FA Cup Final

Arsene Wenger has earned himself a reprieve after Arsenal’s triumphant win over Chelsea in the FA Cup final.

The Arsenal boss finished outside the Premier League’s top four for the first time in his tenure, leading to a deluge of ‘Wenger Out’ calls from the Gunner faithful. That same fan base are today celebrating a superb win over League winners Chelsea at Wembley.

Alexis Sanchez gave Arsenal the lead very early on in controversial fashion as play seemed to stop with Aaron Ramsey and Chelsea .

The match remained competitive up until the 68th minute, which saw Victor Moses sent off after receiving a second yellow card for diving.

Chelsea looked doomed, but Diego Costa popped up ten minutes later with an equaliser.

So far, so Arsenal. The north London side weren’t going to leave the season behind empty handed, however.

Sanchez and Olivier Giroud set up Aaron Ramsey for the win just two minutes later to seal the deal.

The Gunners held on for the win, with many neutrals delighted especially for one Arsene Wenger.
