The most high-profile of free agents available this summer has secured a move to Barcelona.
Adrien Rabiot of Paris Saint-Germain has six-months left on a contract that wasn’t going to be renegotiated, making him available for free in the summer albeit on a high wage demand.
That demand of around £170k a week has reportedly been matched by Barcelona, according to The Guardian.
Rabiot joined PSG in 2012, and while he has featured prominently for the French giants, a disciplinary action after he and Kylian Mbappe turned up late to a pre-match briefing in October soured relations with the club.

The Frenchman had been linked with Premier League clubs such as Tottenham and Liverpool, but has instead opted for the Nou Camp-based outfit, where he will compete with the likes of Sergio Busquets, Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic in the Barcelona midfield.
He will remain in Paris until June, with the move taking effect in the summer.
It appears that with this move, Barcelona may not pursue the highly-rated Frankie De Jong of Ajax, who has attracted interest from across Europe, and it’s PSG that are said to be leading the charge for the Dutchman.
