Man United Considering Mayoral In De Gea Deal, Along With Dinamo Moscow Striker

With Pedro gone, it’s one last scramble for a striker for Man United.

According to ESPN, the Old Trafford side are contemplating taking on Real Madrid youngster Borja Mayoral as part of a possible deal to sell David De Gea to the Galacticos, in order to bolster their strikeforce.

The 18-year-old is a relative unknown, and with United striker James Wilson currently occupying the ‘youngster with potential’ role, United fans haven’t been jumping with joy at the speculation.

Mayoral is highly regarded, though. Mayoral impressively finished as top scorer in this summer’s European Under-19 Championship with three goals in five games, as his side Spain won the tournament.

Meanwhile, Russian news agency TASS have reported that both United and Tottenham are chasing Dinamo Moscow’s Aleksandar Kokorin. The 24-year-old forward’s agent confirming talks are being held between the two Premier League clubs regarding a deal.

A source from the club is also quoted as confirming the interest.

Kokorin has scored 38 goals in 165 games for Dinamo, and eight goals in 32 games for his national side of Russia.
