With Pedro gone, it’s one last scramble for a striker for Man United.
According to ESPN, the Old Trafford side are contemplating taking on Real Madrid youngster Borja Mayoral as part of a possible deal to sell David De Gea to the Galacticos, in order to bolster their strikeforce.
The 18-year-old is a relative unknown, and with United striker James Wilson currently occupying the ‘youngster with potential’ role, United fans haven’t been jumping with joy at the speculation.
Mayoral is highly regarded, though. Mayoral impressively finished as top scorer in this summer’s European Under-19 Championship with three goals in five games, as his side Spain won the tournament.
Borja Mayoral scored 54 goals for the U19s last season.
