Inter Milan Director Essentially Confirms Jose Mourinho To Manchester United Deal

Inter Milan Director, Bedy Moratti, has confirmed in a recent statement that Jose Mourinho is indeed on his way to Manchester United.

Bedy, sister of former club President Massimo Moratti, told CalcioMercato the news having met Mourinho, who was visiting former boss and close friend Massimo.

Being asked about the rumours linking the Portuguese with a return to the San Siro prompted this response from Bedy;

“No, he’s happy now, he’s going to Manchester. Of course he’s always fantastic and we missed him as a person here.”

Just this morning, Mourinho himself ruled out an Inter return, while refusing to do so when queried about the Old Trafford hotseat. Moratti’s admission may amount to a slip of the tongue, but it confirms rumours that have spanned months – frustrating many of the United faithful in the process.

She has also seemingly condemned current, struggling Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal to his fate.

If our Italian-English translation isn’t the best, the Press Association have verified the remarks.
