Kylian Mbappe has finally made his long awaited move to the North of France.
The 18-year-old has been the most sought-after teenager in footballing history. The likes of Real Madrid were heavily linked with the winger, who impressed on the European stage last season.
However, the free-spending Paris Saint Germain have stolen a march on their rivals, signing Mbappe on a season-long loan, with an option to buy next summer.
This was done rather than a straight purchase in order to comply with the Financial Fair Play rules, given PSG’s €222m acquisition of Neymar from Barcelona. Though no fee is forthcoming from the club as of yet, the heavily reported fee for the deal overall is in the range of €180m.
PSG’s official account confirmed the news just hours before the conclusion of the transfer window.

Mbappe scored 26 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions last season, and will line out as part of PSG’s already scary frontline featuring the likes of Edinson Cavani, Angel Di Maria, Julian Draxler and the aforementioned Neymar.
