Ricardo Quaresma scored a patented goal with the outside of his foot to give his Portugal side the lead against Iran in today’s 7pm World Cup matchup.
The evergreen Ricardo Quaresma picked up the fantastic opener to today’s group stage clash between Portugal and Iran.
The Besiktas winger scored his tenth international goal just before the break to put Portugal ahead. Iran weren’t expected to offer much in the way of resistance to the European side but the majestic nature of the goal scored by Quaresma will no doubt be in the headlines come tomorrow.
Hitting it with the outside of his boot, he left the keeper stranded with no chance whatsoever.

With their spot in the last-16 all but in the bag, it’ll be interesting to see how far Ronaldo and co. can get after their Euro 2016 -winning effort in their last major tournament.
