Watch: Juventus Score Twice In The First-Half As Real Madrid’s Aggregate Lead Crumbles

Things went from bad-to-worse for Real Madrid as Juventus managed to score twice in the opening half of their quarter-final clash this evening.

Just twenty-four hours after Barcelona were stunned into silence by Roma in the second-leg of their Champions League quarter final matchup, another Italian giant could well provide a memorable upset as Juventus edge ever closer to overcoming a 3-0 aggregate deficit to Real Madrid this evening.

Mario Mandzukic was the one to fire home just over a minute into the first-half, something that quickly had both sets of fans wondering whether it was going to be yet another stunning comeback in the works.

Real Madrid’s hopes for an equaliser were squashed quickly as Isco was declared offside after netting from inside the six-yard box just ten minutes after Juve broke the deadlock.

With less than ten minutes to go in the first half, it was Mandzukic once again who provided the goal, taking both sides into the break with a very interesting second-half left to play.
