Maurizio Sarri’s Juventus have reportedly entered the race to sign highly-touted Tottenham and Ireland striker Troy Parrott.
They will join Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in pursuit of the Irishman – something that speaks volumes about the 17-year-old’s clear talent and potential.
Parrott has been attracting interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs on the back of his impressive pre-season with Spurs – something that has earned him the praise of manager Mauricio Pochettino.
While playing for Ireland’s U19 side last season he also was able to bag three goals from five games during the Under 19 UEFA Youth League.
According to reports from Calcio Mercato, his form in both club colours and his strong showings at international level have been enough to warrant this interest from these giants of European football and now, only time will tell where this young man’s future will lie.
Pochettino is seemingly wary of letting him depart White Hart Lane given his age, but either way, if Parrott keeps performing, he’ll be set to make some serious waves over the course of the coming seasons.
