An Italian sports publication has claimed that Arsenal’s longtime winger Theo Walcott is pushing for a move to Serie A giants AC Milan in the January window.
Football Italia have claimed in a recent report that Theo Walcott has been attempting to make a move to the Serie A happen in this transfer window.
Walcott, 28, hasn’t seen too much in the way of Premier League action throughout this campaign so far but has still managed to bring five assists and four goals. It does seem, however, as though he has fallen to the back of Arsene Wenger’s plans moving forward so many are expecting him to be mulling over his options as the new year gets underway.
He transferred to the Gunners from Southampton back in 2006 for a fee believed to be in the region of 5 million pounds but despite the huge expectation that fell on his shoulders from day one, the potential that so many had believed him to be capable of achieving was one that he simply could reach or sustain for a long enough time.
Although a return to Southampton appears to be a likely option, AC Milan are now another club that Walcott is supposedly linked with and though a loan-move is seemingly the best bet, expect to see more movement in the Theo Walcott-saga over the course of the coming days and weeks.
