Paul Pogba will lead Manchester United out of the tunnel as they take on Leicester in today’s Premier League opener.
Manchester United will look to shake off their pre-season worries as they welcome underdogs Leicester City to Old Trafford as the Premier League 2018/19 campaign gets underway.
Ahead of today’s team announcement we were aware that United would be without new signing Diogo Dalot, Sergio Romero, Nemanja Matic, and Marcos Rojo due to injury.
With some of those featured in the World Cup having missed out on preseason football, many had wondered exactly if the likes of Pogba, Young, and Fellaini would feature in today’s opening matchup.
Out of those mentioned, it was Paul Pogba who started and, in fact, will captain the side for the first time.
