Neymar has apparently made positive movement towards achieving a level of fitness necessary to feature for Brazil as they entertain Costa Rica tomorrow.
Fans of the Brazilian national side have been waiting anxiously for further details on the fitness of their talisman Neymar ever since he picked up a knock during a training session following their 1-1 draw with Switzerland in their opening fixture.
For Neymar, the game stood as his first in quite some time after enduring an injury-stricken second-half of last season with PSG. He was fouled ten times upon his return in the World Cup opener, clearly being targeted by the opposition due to his status as a danger.
Today, however, he spoke to Sky Sports and eased some of the concerns around his fitness by claiming that he will, in fact, feature in what will be a crucial game for Brazil’s hopes of getting out of the group.
