According to reports made by Sky Sports, Leeds United’s search for a winger has led towards interest in Irish international Callum O’Dowda.
Leeds have undergone something of a renaissance under manager Marcelo Bielsa and at present, are sitting four-points clear at the top of the Championship as they look to re-establish themselves in the top-flight of English football for the first time in fifteen years.
Their scintillating start hasn’t relented yet and with the transfer window now open, fans have been expecting the club to strengthen themselves before embarking on the campaign’s home-stretch.
Rumour has it that they’re in the market for a winger and last night, Tim Thornton of Sky Sports reported first that Bristol City winger Callum O’Dowda is being considered by Bielsa and co.

O’Dowda, who has capped for the Irish international side on 15 occasions, will see his Bristol City contract expire in the summer after a three-year period spent at Ashton Gate – although he has a one-year extension option clause written into that contract.
The Irishman has made 12 appearances in the Championship for The Robins this year, scoring twice while contributing three assists.
