Iker Casillas, the legendary Porto and former Real Madrid goalkeeper has been rushed to a Portugal hospital after suffering a suspected heart-attack.
According to reports, Casillas has been transported to Hospital CUF in Porto and is in a stable condition.
The famed shot-stopper suffered the supposed heart-attack on at Porto’s training ground and was taken urgently to hospital where he is now understood to be conscious and out of danger.
Casillas enjoyed a tremendously successful playing career having won five La Liga titles, three Champions Leagues, and a World Cup and European Championship and is regarded by many as one of the greatest keepers in the history of the sport.
Last seen in action on Friday, Casillas was present for his side’s 2-2 draw with Rio Ave.
