Hotly-tipped Irish prospect Adam Idah made the difference today as the Irish under-18 side managed to edge out the Netherlands by a score of 1-0.
Idah was the hero in the Pinatar Arena as he found the net to give Ireland a hard-fought victory over the Dutch in their friendly showdown this evening.
The Norwich striker has been tipped by many to do great things in the Irish shirt and at just 17-years-old, expect to hear more and more about him as continues his rise through the international ranks.

In the match’s immediate aftermath, manager Jim Crawford expressed his delight with the result and the overall performance from his side..
“The performances this week will cause Under-19 head-coach Tom Mohan some headaches. A lot of the players performed to a very high standard.
“Those performances will probably affect our side in March, as a lot of the players will be with the Under-19s for the Elite Round. I’m delighted for them. We want to be pushing on our best players.”
