Tottenham and France keeper Hugo Lloris was pulled over by London police in the early hours of Friday morning.
His Spurs side face an absolutely crucial matchup against rivals Manchester United on Monday night but they will not be helped in the slightest by this recent revelation involving one of their key men.
Lloris, 31, was pulled over by police in Central London at 2:20am and after failing a roadside breathalyzer-test, was taken into custody before being charged.
The World Cup winner was then released on bail but has been ordered to appear before Westminster magistrates court on September 11 after being charged with drink-driving offences.
It isn’t known at present how this will affect his inclusion in manager Mauricio Pochettino’s squad for Monday’s showdown in Old Trafford but there’s no doubt that he hasn’t done himself any favours with this one.
