It has just come to light that the former Arsenal winger José Antonio Reyes was killed in a car crash on Saturday morning.
Reports emerging from Spain that the former Spain international had been killed in a car accident have now been confirmed.
Reyes, who was 35, was a member of Arsenal’s legendary Invincibles team who managed to win the Premier League title without sustaining a loss in 2004.
After his time at Arsenal, Reyes played for Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Seville among others before his most recent club, Segunda Division side Extremadura.
