David Meyler has found himself a new club after ending a long spell at Hull City following a dispute over contract negotiations at the end of last season.
David Meyler’s five-and-a-half-year run at Hull City came to a close last season after a somewhat unpleasant end that saw the Irish international leave the club following what he himself described as them failing to show him the respect he deserves with their offer.
Following his decision to wait until after Ireland’s pair of international friendly against France and the USA, Meyler announced via his official Twitter page that a deal has been done and he will tog out in the blue and white of Reading next season.

Meyler made 181 appearances as a member of the Hull setup and at international level, has capped on 20 different occasions for Ireland to date.
His move to Reading will be finalised as soon as his existing contract with Hull expires at the end of this month and as soon as that happens, he can start work on helping his new side gain promotion in the 2018/19 season.
