Shane Supple’s fine form in goal for Bohemians has been rewarded with a call-up to Ireland’s international side ahead of their upcoming friendlies.
One of Bohemians’ in-form talents has been given the call-up to the Irish international squad after a string of impressive performances of late, with his recent showing in Bohs’ matchup against Dundalk apparently doing enough to seal the deal.
Martin O’Neill was present at that match in Dalymount Park, where Bohemians managed to win 2-0 and apparently saw enough from the 31-year-old to warrant giving him the call.
With friendlies against both France on May 28 and USA on June 2 to look forward to, it’s always great to see domestic talent getting an opportunity like this on a more global stage.
Shamrock Rovers striker Graham Burke also makes the cut following his appearance in the team’s recent testimonial match against Celtic.
Come on you #Bohs in Green. ❤️???
Congratulations to Shane Supple who has been called up to the Ireland squad for the upcoming friendlies away to France (Monday May 28) and home to USA (Saturday June 2).
