Watch: Arsenal Post Spine-tingling Tribute To Arsene Wenger As Frenchman Announces His Farewell

Arsenal’s official Twitter account posted a video tribute to Arsene Wenger as he revealed that he plans to leave the club after this season’s conclusion.

Love him or hate him, the Arsene Wenger era was one that was as memorable as any top-tier manager’s reign we’ve experienced in some time. Over a period that lasted 22 years, Wenger guided them to three Premier League titles during his stay at the London club and today, following a statement made on the club’s official website, there has been an outpouring of respect for the French manager.

No word has been given yet about his plans for the future but after a two decade-long run with one of England’s finest teams, whoever it is that replaces him will do so with some seriously large boots to fill, both for his accomplishments on paper and his personality off of it.

The official Twitter account for Arsenal posted a tribute to Wenger shortly after the release of his statement and whether you would consider yourself a Gunner or not, it’s hard not to feel nostalgia when watching some of his great squads at their respective peaks.
