Neil Lennon was an animated figure.
Former Celtic boss Neil Lennon was left furious after he was sent off in the Cypriot Cup final on Wednesday evening as he led Omonia Nicosia to the crown.
Lennon’s side were forced to play with 10-men for 115 minutes after one of their players was sent off after just five minutes of the game.
But even that did not stop them from claiming the Cypriot Cup title, with his side winning out after a dramatic penalty shootout win that went to sudden death.
While Omonia won on spot-kicks, Lennon was not on the touchline for them, as he was sent off just before the game came to its dramatic conclusion.
Booked twice in the space of a minute, the former Celtic boss was sparked into a furious reaction after being dismissed, attempting to mimic the referee and his officials.

Despite being forced to watch the game from the stands, his withdrawal did not have too much of an effect on his side.
Both sides missed their first penalties, before Omonia went into the ascendancy after Achnas missed their third.
But Omonia were unable to win after five penalties each, with Andronikos Kakoullis missing his effort from the spot to win the cup.
However, Lennon’s side eventually took their chance to win their domestic cup after Charalampos Charalampous slotted home the winning effort.
Neil Lennon.
The win puts the gloss on a successful end to Lennon’s early stint in Cyprus after taking over the reins of the club just a few months ago.
Since taking over, the former Northern Ireland international help guide his side away from the relegation battle after his side missed out on the league phase of the Cypriot top-flight.
