Michael Owen has been speaking on Mo Salah.
Former Liverpool star Michael Owen has hailed the efforts, and mentality of Mo Salah amid his continuing run of impressive form.
The Reds have been in inspired form this season, with Salah’s efforts key throughout the season at Anfield. The Egyptian could not help steer Liverpool to a historic quadruple although, but he still made his mark.
And speaking ahead of the Champions League final, Owen hailed Liverpool’s key frontman.
“He wasn’t a goal machine earlier on in his career, but he has got better and better..”
“His mentality stands out,” Owen explained. “He doesn’t care about anything else bar records and scoring goals.
“It’s his obsession as a person, and he has developed that over time. He wasn’t a goal machine earlier on in his career, but he has got better and better.
“Now he’s got a taste for it, he doesn’t want to let go.”
“I think centre-forwards are tapped, they have a different wire.”

“I still think there are areas of his game where he could score more goals. You can see that he wasn’t a goal machine earlier in his career as he hasn’t perfected some of the arts.
“But what he has perfected is outrageously good. Now he’s got a taste for it, he doesn’t want to let go.”
Mo Salah.
While Salah may also be chasing another trophy, he has revenge on his mind after his last Champions League final against Real Madrid in 2018.
In the Kyiv decider, Salah was forced off thanks to an early injury he picked up in the game.
