A big move is on the cards.
Ireland U19 international Josh Keeley is on the verge of completing a Premier League switch to Tottenham Hotspur from FAI Cup holders St Patrick’s Athletic.
Keeley, 19, has plied his trade with the Saints’ academy set-up in recent years, establishing himself as one of the finest young talents at the club.
And following social media reports that emerged on Saturday afternoon, Pundit Arena has learned that a switch is on the verge of completion for the talented shot-stopper, pending a medical being passed and final details being rubber-stamped.
Although, the fee suggested is incorrect.
Josh Keeley.
Keeley played with the Saints’ U17 side in 2019, before then earning his promotion to the club’s U19 side a year later.
In 2020, he then claimed the club’s player of the year award at U19 level, which then led to him signing his first professional deal with the club in January 2021.

Since then, Keeley has featured on the bench mainly for the Saints, playing second, and third-fiddle to the likes of Liverpool loanee Vitzeslav Jaros, and West Ham starlet Joseph Anang.
But he has continued to develop at the club in that timeframe, with the Co. Meath teenager from Dunboyne closing in on a cross-channel switch.

Should the deal go through as expected next month, Keeley would join the likes of Troy Parrott and Matt Doherty who are already at the club.
Despite that, it is expected that he will go into Spurs’ underage ranks upon his arrival in North London.
