Dana White has doubled down on his Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler stance, confirming the fight won’t headline UFC White House.
The UFC President has revealed there is a strong possibility of McGregor headlining the card, but not against Chandler.

UFC President Dana White has doubled down on his stance that Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler most definitely won’t take place at UFC White House this summer.
The rumoured McGregor vs Chandler bout was ruled-out by White, with the UFC kingpin further solidifying his stance on the fight in another interview on The Pat McAfee Show.
White previously stated that he had no interest in making McGregor vs Chandler at the White House as the fight is a few years past its sell-by date, and has doubled down on that stance once again.

It seems that any hope of seeing Chandler and McGregor throw down on the South Lawn come June 14 are well and truly squashed.
Chandler reacted to White shutting down the fight, insisting that he still holds out hope of the fight happening and remains fully focused on his training and diet, totally geared towards fighting the Irishman at the White House.
However, it seems that Chandler’s hopes of finally settling the score with the former two-division simultaneous UFC champion are getting slimmer by the day.
The fight could well happen later in the year or perhaps even in 2027 if McGregor makes a successful comeback and keeps his promise of facing Chandler, but White evidently isn’t keen on the match-up any more.

McGregor On UFC White House Card, But Not Against Chandler
Despite doubling down on his stance that Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler won’t be included on the UFC White House card, Dana White did reveal there is a strong chance of the Irishman headlining the card.
The UFC President revealed that McGregor is ‘definitely in the running’ for a White House fight, but that it won’t be against Chandler.
White also insists any talk of McGregor vs Jorge Masvidal is total rubbish too, but that there are discussions going on between him, Hunter Campbell, McGregor and UFC match-makers over the possible comeback of ‘Notorious’ on June 14 in Washington DC:
“Obviously, we love Chandler. He’s one of the best and has done so much for this sport and this company. Conor and I have a good relationship, we talk a lot… and yeah, he’s definitely in the running for this fight at the White House,” White revealed on The Pat McAfee Show.

White’s latest sentiments certainly spell good news for McGregor, who is currently back home in Ireland with his family, helping the homeless in Dublin whilst also beginning to ramp up training over his impending octagon return this summer.
McGregor hasn’t fought since July 2021 where he lost his trilogy bout with bitter rival Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, but looks firmly set to make his long-awaited return at UFC White House on June 14.
Should the 37-year-old officially make his comeback at the White House, which US President Donald Trump and UFC President Dana White have both hinted at, this would mark his first MMA fight in almost five years.
