It has been confirmed that the inaugural Zuffa Boxing card on Friday night, headlined by Callum Walsh vs Carlos Ocampo, will be live streamed for boxing fans to enjoy.

The full Z01 card is set to go down from the Meta Apex on January 23 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

A whole host of prospects and up-and-coming fighters from various different weight classes feature on the undercard, with undefeated Irishman Walsh headlining in a compelling fight against former three-time world title challenger Ocampo.

Although Walsh has campaigned his entire career so far at light-middleweight, this fight against Ocampo is up at middleweight (160-pounds). The bout is set to be contested over 10 x three-minute rounds.

The Mexican former world title challenger has only lost three times, all at world level. Errol Spence Jr, Sebastian Fundora and Tim Tszyu are the only men to have beaten Ocampo as a professional, with Walsh hopeful of becoming the fourth.

The bookmakers have listed Walsh as the heavy pre-fight favourite, but it certainly won’t be easy for the 24-year-old Cork native who has had less fights than Ocampo has knockouts on his resume.

Fellow Irishman Conor McGregor shared his support of Walsh on social media, with the undefeated 15-0 prospect hoping to claim the biggest win of his career on Zuffa Boxing’s debut card.

Dana White has decided to make the Walsh vs Ocampo fight and full undercard available to all UK and Ireland boxing fans after confirming the event will be streamed live on YouTube.

Walsh vs Ocampo Available For Free On YouTube

The Callum Walsh vs Carlos Ocampo fight is being streamed for free on Zuffa Boxing’s YouTube channel for all fight fans outside of America. This means boxing fans from the Emerald Isle can tune in and watch ‘King’ as he bids to move to 16-0 at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.

Walsh vs Ocampo is being broadcast on Paramount+ in America, but not this side of the pond. Irish fight fans aren’t required to sign-up to Paramount+ or any other streaming platform and will instead be provided with a totally free live stream on YouTube.

The Z01 card is expected to get underway at 6pm ET on Friday. This means roughly an 11pm start for fight fans in the UK and Ireland.

With five fights on the prelims and three fights on the main card, including Walsh vs Ocampo, it’s expected to be a jam-packed night of action at the Meta Apex.

The main card is expected to begin at around 1am, with the main event ring walks set for 3am GMT. These times could vary depending on how many knockouts there are on the prelims.

It could perhaps even be closer to 4am in the early hours of Saturday morning for Irish fight fans. All Irish boxing fans will be hoping to see an impressive victory for ‘King’ against the seasoned Ocampo.

Judging by the latest super-welterweight rankings, Walsh is one win away from a potential world title shot. Should he beat Ocampo, especially if it’s done in emphatic fashion, Walsh could well get a world title shot next.
