Anto Cacace is predicting his WBA World Super-Featherweight Title fight with Jazza Dickens in Dublin will be his ‘hardest fight to date’.
‘The Apache’ takes on Dickens at the 3Arena on Sat Patrick’s Day weekend in the capital, and is expecting a tough night’s work against the champion.
Anto Cacace Predicting ‘Hardest Fight To Date’ With Jazza Dickens
Jazza Dickens vs Anto Cacace goes down on March 14 at the 3Arena in Dublin in what is a compelling match-up on St Patrick’s Day weekend for the WBA World Super-Featherweight Title.
The champion, Dickens, is the underdog with bookmakers in the latest pre-fight odds, but insists he is used to that. For Cacace, he goes in as the hometown fighter and the favourite with the bookies too.
The fact the fight is in Dublin likely has something to do with Cacace being listed as the favourite. However, his recent performances and standout wins evidently have something to do with it too.
Since losing to Martin J Ward for the British title back in 2017, the Belfast man has won nine straight fights whilst picking up two versions of a world super-featherweight title in the process.

The 36-year-old has since relinquished both belts, but has the chance at becoming a two-time world champion should he beat Liverpool’s Dickens on March 14 in Dublin.
Although Cacace is a favourite with the bookies, he knows himself just how tough a fight he has on his hands. The 24-1 southpaw firmly believes Dickens will be his trickiest fight to date, and is fully aware that he’ll have to bring his A-game if he is to secure the victory and become world champion once again.
“I know he’s a good fella as well and a great fighter. I think this will easily be my hardest fight to date. Jazza is a WBA world champion, and that’s something we all dream of,” said ‘The Andytown Apache’.

Anto Cacace Willing ‘To Die In The Ring’ Every Time He Fights
Anto Cacace is fully aware the task he has in front of him with Jazza Dickens won’t be easy by any stretch of the imagination.
The 3Arena is expected to sell-out well before fight night, with Dickens vs Cacace tickets flying already. The atmosphere will be electric on March 14 in Dublin, with the Belfast man likely to receive a raucous reception from his beloved Irish fans.
That being said, Dickens is highly thought of in the Emerald Isle and has even called Ireland his second home on occasion. He will have his fair share of support, but it simply won’t match that of Cacace’s.
In order to become a two-time world champion, Cacace has revealed he is willing to die in the ring in order to get his hand raised:
“I go into every fight thinking that if I have to die in the ring, I’ll die. I feel like Jazza is the exact same as me. It makes for an absolute war,” said the 24-1 southpaw.

The fact Cacace is prepared to put his life on the line in order to secure the victory tells you all you need to know about how much this fight means to the west Belfast man.
It takes two to tango, and Cacace is well aware that his style and Dickens’ simply can’t not gel, meaning boxing fans will be in for a treat.
“We’re going to give you a night to remember, one hundred per cent,” said Cacace.
Pierce O’Leary has promised a career-best performance in Dublin against Mark Chamberlain in the co-main event, with a Cacace win in the main event making it the perfect night for Irish boxing on March 14.
