Watch: Oscar De La Hoya Says He’s Coming Out Of Retirement To Fight Conor McGregor

Oscar De La Hoya has just announced that he has been secretly training in order to fight Conor McGregor.

Over the course of the ceaseless build-up to the ‘money fight’ that was Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather, Oscar De La Hoya stated on several occasions that the bout was a disgrace and disrespectful to the sport of boxing and its fans.

However, less than three months after the so-called ‘circus’ that was Mayweather/McGregor is over and done with, the boxer turned promoter is himself claiming that he will come out of retirement to finish the UFC champion ‘inside two rounds’.

‘I still have it in me. I’ve been secretly training… I’m faster than ever and stronger than ever. I know I could take out Conor McGregor inside two rounds. I’ll come back for that fight.’

Given De La Hoya’s persistent comments on Mayweather/McGregor, the level of contradiction from the 44-year-old is truly hard to grasp on this occasion and it may well transpire that ‘Golden Boy’ is simply looking for a reaction.

However, you can make your own mind up and check out De La Hoya’s comments yourself in the clip below…
