Anthony Joshua’s title defence on October 28 in the Principality Stadium, Cardiff, has had to be altered.
His scheduled opponent Kubrat Pulev has suffered a shoulder injury in training just two weeks out from the bout meaning this bout is now cancelled. The Bulgarian is believed to have damaged his shoulder during a sparring session resulting in a muscle injury.
However, promoter Eddie Hearn, who confirmed the news on Monday evening, has now announced who the replacement opponent will be.

AJ has been out of the ring since his epic win over Wladimir Klitschko in April at Wembley Stadium. Fans are eager to see the top attraction in heavyweight boxing today back in action and witness how far his career can springboard off that legendary victory over the 41-year-old.
No matter who he faces, an impressive performance will be expected from the former Olympic gold medalist with a view to a mega cross-Atlantic showdown with Deontay Wilder in the works for 2018.
There is also the prospect of a meeting with David Haye, should the Hayemaker avenge his loss to Tony Bellew when those two meet in December.
