Paulie Malignaggi Says He Will Take ‘McGregor’s Manhood’ & Tweets Fight Odds

Paulie Malignaggi isn’t letting go of the idea of fighting Conor McGregor…

After a seemingly never-ending feud erupted between Paulie Malignaggi and Conor McGregor prior to the Irishman’s bout with Floyd Mayweather, many pundits and fans began to wonder if a boxing match between the pair could be put together at some point in the future.

Speaking after McGregor’s tenth round TKO loss to Mayweather on August 26th, UFC commentator Joe Rogan stated that he ‘couldn’t imagine’ how the MMA champion and the undefeated boxer would not fight again at some point in the future. Developing his argument, Rogan stated that, should McGregor beat someone like Paulie Malignaggi in his next fight, the public’s interest in May/Mac II could easily be peaked.

‘He’s probably gonna make more than 300 million dollars from this last fight. Amazing. I can’t imagine that they won’t do it again.’

If Conor figures out how to not get tired, if he can convince people. Like say if he fights Paulie Malignaggi, beats the shit out of Paulie Malignaggi and says ‘Floyd, let’s do it one more f*cking time!’

Rogan went on to discuss how a UFC return would only earn McGregor a fraction of what he made in the Mayweather bout while remaining in the boxing realm would see him at least earning comparable figures.

Now, it seems Malignaggi is also not letting go of the idea of booking a money fight with the Irishman and, tweeting this week, he openly stated that he would happily accept the bout.

Malignaggi went on to acknowledge that a fight between himself and McGregor would be a much more competitive fight than the recently mooted (and absurd) crossover bout between the SBG star and Canelo Alvarez while he also claimed that he would be willing to fight the Irishman in a ‘winner takes all’ bout.

Malignaggi also responded to several other tweets relating to the infamous sparring footage of himself and McGregor before finally sending out an article listing him as the favourite in a bout against the Irishman.

According to the piece, should a McGregor vs Malignaggi bout be booked, the boxer would be offered at odds of 8/13 while the MMA champion would be going off at 6/4.
