JUST IN: Nine Seats Were Unsold for May-Pac, But Fight Still Smashes Every Record

Although the fight failed to live up to many casual boxing fans’ expectations, the official ticket sales figures from Mayweather-Pacquiao obliterated the records set by its peers in boxing history.

As per Dan Rafael via ESPN, the sales smashed previous records and generated over $72 million. There was just a measly 46 complimentary tickets given out for the fight, and amazingly, nine tickets remained unsold. No doubt a greedy tout was left fuming after failing to offload the tickets.
