Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder have been on a collision course for a number of months now. On Monday morning boxing fans got a preview of how heated a fight between the pair could end up being.
Wilder and Fury will do battle at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on December 1st for the WBC Heavyweight title, but before that, the pair got into a heated exchange during their first pre-fight press conference.
The press conference which took place in London, descended into chaos when Fury asked if he could “feel the power” that Wilder possessed as the duo exchanged verbal jabs at one another before the heavyweight champion pushed the English boxer in the chest.
Fury joked that his “wife pushes harder than that” as security surrounded the pair with fears that they could get even more physical.
Promoter Frank Warren pleaded with the two heavyweights to sit back down but there was little he could do as they continued to get in each other’s faces ahead of the huge showdown on December 1st.
😲 THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY 😲@Tyson_Fury wants to feel @BronzeBomber's power, is shoved and the bouncers have to step in between them.
