Katie Taylor Honoured As Overseas Boxer Of The Year

Irish world champion boxer Katie Taylor has been honoured by the British Boxing Board of Control as their Overseas Boxer of the Year.

Taylor will cap off another fantastic few months by joining the likes of Errol Spence, Vitali Klitschko, Sergey Kovalev and Guillermo Rigondeaux within this exclusive club.

The Bray-native will return to the ring in October to face Cindy Serrano in an effort to move to 11-0 since turning pro.

Katie took to her official Twitter page to react to the announcement that she has won this year’s BBBoC Overseas Boxer of the Year award.

2018 was certainly a great year for Katie Taylor but with the looming presence of some very real challenges, who knows, 2019 could well be shaping up to be an even better one.
