Dereck Chisora, to the surprise of some, as joined his former rival David Haye’s Hayemaker brand, with Haye himself acting as his manager from now on.
The feud that existed between Haye and Chisora boiled over during the post-fight press conference of Dereck’s twelve-round showdown with Vitali Klitschko – where his team and the team of ‘The Hayemaker’ collided in an ugly brawl.
Six years on, with David Haye now retired from the sport after a pair of losses to Tony Bellew, his move into the realms of promotion has seen him achieve success with his ‘Hayemaker Ringstar’, a company that he himself is the CEO of.
Now, it appears as though they have added ‘Del Boy’ to their ranks, meaning that both men will work closely together as Chisora continues his assault on the heavyweight belt.
Boxing is a sport where inside those ropes, beef can be squashed and replaced with the type of respect forged between two warriors in the heat of battle. Looking forward to the challenge ahead with @dellboychisora and @HayemakerBoxing ??✨(video cred: Jakes Films) pic.twitter.com/XLfDevrsR6
