Since Simon Zebo announced his move to Racing 92 at the beginning of the season, the Munster star has been exiled from the Ireland squad and hasn’t played in green since the first Test against Japan last summer.
Although the IRFU don’t have an official policy on not selecting Irish eligible players who ply their trade abroad, it’s no secret that this is the case such is the evidence proved by Zebo, Donnacha Ryan, Ian Madigan et al.
Zebo has not ruled out a return to Munster in the future and there is no doubt the southern province would welcome him back with open arms so there still remains a possibility that he will represent his country again.
It must have been tough on the Corkman to watch on as his colleagues and friends secured Grand Slam glory at Twickenham and as if he didn’t need another reminder of missing out, a rugby clothing company have tweeted their congratulations to Zebo on Twitter so that he would promote their product.
Ouch.
Cheers lads some buzz ?? https://t.co/cEava5Lcez

To be fair to the 28-year-old he took it well as you would expect.
